This Cookie Policy explains how Annapurna Productions, LLC (“Annapurna,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use the Mixtape website and related online services (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which can store small amounts of data in your browser. These technologies can help websites operate, remember choices, preserve local state, and understand how visitors use a service.

Cookie banner and your choices

When you first visit, we may show a banner that lets you choose whether to allow optional first-party analytics. If you choose Essential only, we still use cookies and storage needed for sign-in, security, preferences, and core features, but we do not record optional analytics events. If you choose Accept analytics, we record usage events as described below.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser. You can change your browser settings or clear site data at any time. Clearing stored consent may cause the banner to appear again.

How we use cookies and storage

Essential / authentication. We use cookies and related storage as needed to keep you signed in securely (for example, session cookies used by Supabase authentication), protect accounts, and operate core features. These technologies are necessary for account features and are not disabled by choosing “Essential only.”

Preferences, consent, and drafts. The Service may store your cookie-consent choice, local preferences, and in-progress creation state in your browser. For example, draft storage can help you continue editing a mixtape after closing the tab. Draft data stays on your device unless you publish it, clear it, or the Service otherwise provides a control to remove it.

First-party analytics. We may store a random session identifier in your browser (for example, in localStorage) to group analytics events we send to our own systems. These events help us understand usage (such as page views and product interactions). We only record these optional analytics events after you accept analytics through the cookie banner.

Third-party embedded content. The Service may embed or link to third-party content, including YouTube playback. Third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Annapurna does not control those third-party technologies.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site advertising identifiers, or mobile advertising IDs as part of the Service’s current analytics implementation.

Your choices

You can control cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting essential authentication cookies may prevent you from staying signed in. Blocking analytics identifiers may reduce the accuracy of our internal statistics but should not prevent core browsing for most visitors.

You may also choose “Essential only” in the cookie banner to decline optional analytics. If you later clear cookies, local storage, or site data, your previous choices and local drafts may be removed from that browser.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. Please review this page for changes.
